Softball

I know I have already done a blog about sports, but I thought I might just go a little more in depth with some. So today I am going to talk about softball. First, I have been playing softball for quite a while. Also, just in case you don't know about softball I will talk more about it. I will also tell you about my favorite coaches, and about previous teams/seasons. So let's get started!

Like I said I have been playing softball of a while. I first started playing T-ball with my brother Dawson. T-ball slowly progressed to softball. It may help that both of my older brothers play baseball. So when ever I need help with something about softball, whether it is my batting stance, or the way I am throwing they are always there to help. My dad was also a great coach over the years. Image result for softball and baseball
Just to let you know, I play catcher. Catcher in softball is the person who wears all of the gear, and sits behind home base and catches the ball after it is pitched. Also, I have played the postitions of pitcher, and second base. In case you were wondering, there is a few differences from baseball and softball. One difference, is the softball is bigger than the baseball (as you can see from the picture above. Another difference is that, a softball field is smaller than a baseball field. Now you may think these things make softball easy but I think not!
Now let's talk about my past coaches. One of my favorite coaches, was one named Carson. She taught me so much about catching. It helped that she was catcher in college. She was a really great coach, she might even by my coach for this year. Another great coach that I have had was my dad. Even though he was only technically my coach fro a year, he still coached me at home when I needed help.
Softball is an amazing sport that I hope I can continue to play. I do have some experience in the sport. I just love the feeling I get when I walk onto the field with my catching gear on. I hope I get man more great coaches in my years to come. I could go on and on about softball, but I won't bore you any longer.
