I'm sure even if you don't like school, you still have a favorite subject. Or at least a favorite class. Well one of my favorite subjects is math. Another one of my favorites is science. Next, one of my favorite classes of the day is language arts. What are your favorite classes?
Now don't think I'm weird because I like math. I don't really now why math comes easy to me, I can just remember things that have to do with math. For example, I can remember my multipilcation tables fairly easily. Also, things just kind of make sense. Like when I read a word problem and think about after a while, I just know what I have to do. So, I guess the reason I like math so much is, because it just comes so easy to me.
As I said before, I also like science. One of the reasons I like science is because, I think it is cool to understand more about the world around me. I especially like it when we learn about living things. For example, right now we are learning about cells and organ systems. Also, this may seem weird but I actually think the dissections are pretty cool. I think it is cool to see how all of the organs work together to keep the animal alive. It is a good thing I like science, because I plan to become a doctor when I grow up.
One more of my favorites, is language arts. Now I think it is strange that I like this class, because I don't really like to read that much. But I do like to write. Most of all I like to write stories. I like that I can write what ever I want, and make the characters do and say what ever I want them to say. Also, I like that when you write you are sort of creating a whole new reality. I also like to learn new words, and things that have to do with writing.
So do you like any subjects more than others? My brothers are also really good at math, so that helped me to improve a lot. Also, science is amazing, and I am always eager to learn new things about the world around us. Next, I love how you can express your self when you are writing. In conclusion these are some of my favorite subjects from school.

Great Movies
Over my life time, I have come across some very great movies that I found to be very interesting. For example, when I was younger I was really into Harry Potter. I also like the Lord of the Rings movies. Don't even get me started on the Hunger Games movies. There are so many to talk about, and probably not enough time.
You may think I am weird, but I really did like the Harry Potter movies. Maybe it was the magic in it, but I just really liked those movies. I also loved the books, (which in my opinion are always better than the movies). It may have helped that my older brothers used to enjoy the Harry Potter books. If you asked me I might be able to remember certain parts of each movie. But I guess I have sort of grown out of that obssesion.
One of my favorites of the newer movies that have come out are the Hunger Games. I have seen every one of the movies of the Hunger Games that have came out. I know it is bad but I have only read one of the books because I couldn't wait that long for the movies to come out. But at least I know what will happen, so I don't have as much of the suspence feeling. It also might help that my friends, Christa and Lorelei also love the Hunger Games.
Another great movie that has come out this year is the Maze Runner. I really loved the whole story to the movie. I also loved the setting and how it related to the story. I have not finished the book yet. Although, I am currently reading it. It is very weird to read the book because it is so much different, than the movie. For example, in the movie Alby is very nice, but in the book he is not that nice. Finally I can't wait until the next movie comes out.As you can see I watch a lot of movies. Even though I may end up not liking them as much as I did before. And some of them, I think I will always be fasinated in. Others, I might like them so much that I might even read the book. IN conclusion there are so many movies I could talk about, but I won't take up all of your time.

This Weekend
Don't you just wait it when you have nothing to do over the weekend? Well this weekend was not the case. First, I got to do a lot of fun things with my friend Lorelei. Like going to the mall. Then my brother come home from college for spring break. Also, we got to celebrate my brothers birthday with my family. So, I guess you can say I had a very busy weekend.
Like I said I got to hang out with my friend Lorelei this weekend. First, her mom, her and her sisters, cam and picked me up from my house at 9:00 am on Saturday. Then we drove to the airport and got Dunkin Donuts. After we finished our donuts we decided to go to the mall. So we headed to the Flat Irons mall. After shopping for a couple of hours, we got a little hungry, so we drove to Noodles & Company. Just in case you don't know Noodles & Company is one of my favorite resturants. After our lunch Lorelei and I were dropped off at the movies, to watch the Duff.
Next, when I got home, my mom and I went up to Golden to pick up my oldest brother. On the way home we stopped at a Dick's Sporting Goods, and I got some new softball cleats, and soccer socks. My younger brother Dawson also got to get some new cleats, along with some new bating gloves. That is one good thing about having a brother with a driving licence, they can take you every where (if they feel like it).
On Sunday after we got my brother, we headed over to my uncles and aunts house to celebrate my youngest brother's belated birthday. When we arrived we met my grandmother, grandfather, and uncle and aunt. For dinner we had the lake trout that my brother had caught the previous summer. We also had some home made chicken pot pie, and home made bread. For dessert we had chocolate cake, and chocolate ice cream.
As you can probably see this weekend was not one of those boring ones, where you have nothing to do. I mean I got to sleep over at my friends house, and have a lot of fun. I also got to see my brother, and get new softball cleats. I even got to eat cake and ice cream. In conclusion I had a really great weekend!

Summer is coming!
I am tired of the snow! I'm sorry if I sound like I am just getting anouyed for no good reason but I want summer to come so badly! I can just feel the nice hot sun melting all of winter away. Don't get me wrong I like the winter. But I am just ready for summer to come. Aren't you anxious for summer to come?
Just picture going to the beach and just soaking in all of that amazing sun. And think about all of the calories that will be lost from swimming in the nice warm water. Or running around with friends, not having to worry about whether you should put on a jacket. I just love the feeling of running barefoot on nice and cool grass. Summer is a beautiful thing why wouldn't you want it to come sooner?
Just think about what kind of sports are in summer. One of my favorite sports is in summer and it is softball. I can't wait until the day that I can throw that big yellow ball. Also, summer is the perfect
time to do things outside. For example, you could go to the park with your friends. Also, you could go to the rec center and go swimming. Another fun thing to do in summer is go fishing. I love that good feeling you get when you finally catch a fish. There are so many things to do in summer I just can't wait!

I understand that winter is great to but come one summer seems so much better right now. I mean do you really want to have to worry if you should wear one coat or two? What about having capped lips, and dry skin. Don't you hate waking up and not being able to see out of your window? I don't know about you but I sure do!
What are your thoughts on summer do far? Ask you self, when is the best time to go on a vacation. The answer to that question would be......SUMMER! Although winter can be fun, summer is so much better! Just think about those nice and long summer nights. In winter the days are so short there is barely enough time to do anything . So summer, you should come fast!

Softball
I know I have already done a blog about sports, but I thought I might just go a little more in depth with some. So today I am going to talk about softball. First, I have been playing softball for quite a while. Also, just in case you don't know about softball I will talk more about it. I will also tell you about my favorite coaches, and about previous teams/seasons. So let's get started!

Like I said I have been playing softball of a while. I first started playing T-ball with my brother Dawson. T-ball slowly progressed to softball. It may help that both of my older brothers play baseball. So when ever I need help with something about softball, whether it is my batting stance, or the way I am throwing they are always there to help. My dad was also a great coach over the years.
Just to let you know, I play catcher. Catcher in softball is the person who wears all of the gear, and sits behind home base and catches the ball after it is pitched. Also, I have played the postitions of pitcher, and second base. In case you were wondering, there is a few differences from baseball and softball. One difference, is the softball is bigger than the baseball (as you can see from the picture above. Another difference is that, a softball field is smaller than a baseball field. Now you may think these things make softball easy but I think not!
Now let's talk about my past coaches. One of my favorite coaches, was one named Carson. She taught me so much about catching. It helped that she was catcher in college. She was a really great coach, she might even by my coach for this year. Another great coach that I have had was my dad. Even though he was only technically my coach fro a year, he still coached me at home when I needed help.
Softball is an amazing sport that I hope I can continue to play. I do have some experience in the sport. I just love the feeling I get when I walk onto the field with my catching gear on. I hope I get man more great coaches in my years to come. I could go on and on about softball, but I won't bore you any longer.

Career
Where do you want to be when you grow up? When I grow up I want to be a doctor. I'm sure that may not sound original or creative, but I really think that is the career for me. I understand that it takes a lot to be a doctor. Just think of all the school I will have to go through. Also, I know I want to go to college right as I get out of high school.
Over the years my answer to this question has changed quite a bit. For example, I probably wanted to be a singer at one point, and probably a pro athlete, and a vet. But after a lot of think I know I want to be a doctor when I grow up. The next thing I need to think about is, what kind of doctor do I want to be. I sort of want to be a neo-nadal doctor (a doctor who works with babies). Also, some part of me wants to be a surgeon. There are so many types of doctors, how will I ever decide?!
Another thing I need to worry about is where I will go to college. I will need to think about colleges that offer good medical courses. One good college I should consider is CU (Colorado University). CU is a good choice because they offer good medicine courses. Also I like CU because they have good athletics. There are many more colleges that may be just right for me. You may think I am to young to already be thinking about colleges, but I think this is as good of a time as any.
Why did I pick a doctor? I think the biggest factor for why I want to be a doctor when I grow up is that I will be helping people. It may sound plain but its true. Also, I love science! I may not be the best in my class but I like the way it feels to actually understand some of the world around me. ANother reason why I want to be a doctor is because, I have an inspiration. My inspiration is my cousin, she is a nurse and she went to college for many years to become one.
I guess I do sort of know what kind of doctor I want to be. Well I have it narrowed down to three. First, I really want to be a neo-nadal nurse, which is a nurse that works with new born babies. Also, a part of me wants to be a surgeon. Another part of me wants to be a pediatrition, which is a doctor who works with kids. At least I know some things I could be. Although it may not be easy, I want to become a doctor when I grow up.

My Day
Most of my days tend to be the same. First I wake up and get my self ready for school. Eventually I head out the door to get onto the bus. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the elementary from my house on the bus. After we arrive to the Hudson elementary, I get on another bus that takes me to the middle school in about 15 minutes. Then from there, I meet my friends in the library, and we hang out there until the bell rings. Next, I go to my locker and then to my math class.
After math is language arts. My third class of the day is my first elective, which is Digital Media. Then I stay in the same classroom to go to STEM. After STEM, which we are making edible cars in, comes lunch. I sit at a table with my friends, and talk about stupid things. If the weather is nice we usually go outside and play after lunch. Then we make our way inside.
The next class of the day is Academic Enrichment, so I make my way to my locker to retrieve my supplies. In Academic Enrichment we read and right about what we read. Next, I go to Science, right now in science we are dissecting organisms. Since I am planning on being a doctor when I grow up I find science very interesting. After science, is History. Right now in history we are learning about religions around the world.
Since history is my last class of the day, when the bell rings I head to my locker to grab my stuff. Right now I am playing soccer, so I head to the bathroom to get changed. After soccer practice I wait until 5:45 and get onto the activity bus that takes me to Hudson elementary. This is where my mom picks my brother and I up and takes us home. Once we get home we eat dinner, and get ready for bed. Getting ready for bed usually consists of me, taking a shower, changing into my pjs, brushing my hair, and brushing my teeth.
It may not seem like it but this is pretty much how every weekday goes. Sometimes if I have enough time I will go outside and play soccer or something like that. I know most people probably have more exciting and up beat days. I have everything I could ask for, a home, friends, and family. I can't complain at all.
