Sports

Sports:

                        To some people sports may be just some stupid reason for people to run around a be crazy. Sports are so much more than that to me. I love the feel of competition, to try as hard as I can to prove myself. Sports is also sort of my outlet. If I feel mad, sad, or bored than I can just go outside and star throwing the ball around. Playing sports seems to clear my head of all of the unnecessary thoughts that are just floating around. So in a sense sports are a big part of my life. 

                       Since I was little I can always remember being involved with some kind of sport. Whether it was playing T-ball, soccer, or basketball. Or just watching my older brothers play, I was always into sports. Maybe it helped that I came form a sort of athletic family. If you asked me what my favorite sport was, you would be waiting for a while for that answer. I don't know why but I have a sort of passion for basketball, softball, soccer, and volleyball. I could probably round it to three favorites, but that's it. 

                     

I have been around basketball for my whole life. Some people can say they started when they were about 6. But honestly, I can't even remember when was the first time I picked up that beautiful simple brown bouncy ball. Since then I can't get enough of the game. When ever I get bored I usually got outside and shoot hoops with my brothers.We would usually play a game of knock out or something to make things more interesting (my 2 older brothers and I). A really cool exerience for me was when I was coached by my father for some years. 

                     
 Another sport I have played a lot of my life so far is softball. I think my first year was the year I played T-ball with my brother Dawson. After a couple years I decided that I really liked the position of catcher. Even now I love how it feels to put on the catching gear, and walk out on to the field. For most of my softball career, so far I have been with the Rebels. I am hoping to further my softball career in high school, and hopefully college.
                        
Further more I also have a passion for soccer. Ever since I was little I had played soccer for Brighton. Although the last year I played, I played for the Rebels. My usual position in soccer is one of the mids. I have tried goally for a few years, but I think mid is a much better fit for me. Some people may think that soccer is only meant for certain types of people, but I believe it is for anyone who is willing to work hard. Also, my dad used to play soccer in college, so sometimes he can help me when I need the help.
                                         You may not think sports are that big of a deal, but to me thy are!

Bahamas

Bahamas:

                       Where is your dream vacation? I'm sure most people would pick a beach with spectacular views. Well, I'm like most people. If I could pick any where to go on a vacation, I would pick the Bahamas. In all honesty I would be fine with any where with beautiful beaches, and breath taking views. I mean who would turn down the chance to swim with amazing sea animals?

                       Now I now I must sound a little bland but come on just think about how relaxing it would be to walk on the warm sand and feel in in between your toes. One of the biggest reasons I want to go to the Bahamas is, because of the ocean and beach. I have been to San Diego, California, and I just love the feel of the beach. I spent some of my time collecting beautiful sea shells. The only bad experience I had was when I thought it would be a good idea to take a big gulp of ocean water. The taste lingered for a while, and that is not the best taste in the world. Some times it is just nice to soak up the sunlight with your feet in the sand. 

                      A second reason why I want to go to the Bahamas is, because there are many fun things to do.  One example of something fun to do in the Bahamas is, fishing. There many fish in the Bahamas, like black fin tuna, and tarpon. Another fun activity for the whole family is diving. There are incredible blue holes that are under water caves. Who wouldn't want to go snorkeling in the Bahamas?  I love to go swimming, so I can't even imagine what it would be like to go swimming in some of the most beautiful coasts.
                      Another reason that I want to go to the Bahamas, is being able to see all of the sights there is to see in the beautiful islands of the Bahamas. For example, the Bahamas offer many adventure tours. I could explore Hamilton's cave, which is one of the largest caves in the Bahamas. Also, I could look into some of the many famous landscapes. One famous landscape in the Bahamas is, Fort Charlotte. Another really cool landmark in the Bahamas, is the Cloisters.
                       Another factor, is the plane ride. It would only take about 6 hours to get tho the Bahamas. Just think about the beautiful hot summer beaches. You could even go surfing, or learn to surf if you are like me and don't know how to. Beautiful aged landmarks, you could learn something from would be waiting for you. I could stay there as long as I wanted. In conclusion that is why I want to go on a vacation to the Bahamas.
